This Amazonite stone is such a beautiful, serene aqua color and has beautiful shimmer to it. It is wrapped in pure copper that has been oxidized to give it an “antiqued” look. To brighten it up and keep it shiny, I include a polishing cloth with your purchase. This pendant comes with an 18” wax cord necklace that is extendable to 20”. It would also look great with the antiqued copper necklace, also available in the shop.
Amazonite, also known as "Amazon stone," is a semi opaque blue-green variety of microcline feldspar. Amazonite is a mineral present in parts of Brazil, Colorado and Virginia in the United States, Australia and Madagascar.
Amazonite is a mostly opaque stone textured with pale milky-white cloudiness or streaking ranging from light green to greenish blue to deep green/blue. Amazonite's soft and attractive color closely resembles nephrite and jadeite. Amazonite's appearance is very distinctive with its grid-like, mottled, green and white pattern.
Amazonite mineral rock was treasured by the ancient Egyptians who made beautiful jewelry, ornamental pieces and carved important texts into this stone. Amazonite has always been prized for its beauty and healing power. This pale green mineral rock is believed to date back as far as the 10th century BC.
Metaphysical Properties:
Amazonite is believed to have many metaphysical powers. Amazonite stones are also thought to have tremendous healing abilities. Similar to jade, amazonite is associated with money, luck and overall success. It's known as the "gambler's stone," encouraging good luck and fortune.
Amazonite is said to have a soothing effect on the nervous system. Since the nervous system controls our emotions a great deal, this stone is said to soothe tense and aggravated situations and to enhance love. Since this stone is associated with the throat and heart, it is best when worn as a necklace near these areas.

Care Instructions
Please follow these suggestions for care of your handmade jewelry:
Don’t wear your jewelry while sleeping, swimming, exercising, or handle it roughly
Don’t expose your jewelry to extreme hot/cold temperatures, or prolonged direct sun exposure
Don’t clean your jewelry with any chemicals or jewelry cleaning machines. A simple cleaning with soap and lukewarm water and soft cloth is all that should be required.
It is natural for pure copper jewelry to get darker/oxidize over time. We will provide you with a small cleaning cloth with your purchase to help keep it shiny and clean, but we do recommend that you store your copper jewelry in a sealed plastic bag to help slow the oxidation process.

We want you to love your purchase, so please review our product and sizing information prior to purchase. We do our best to accurately describe our items and take photographs that are a good representation of the product. It is difficult to photograph certain stones and there can be slight variations in color due to lighting.
We do not accept returns for product size and color, so please ask any questions before purchasing so we can make sure our product meets your expectations.
If your item is damaged or broken during shipping, please contact us right away so we can work together to resolve (merchandise credit or replacement).
Merchandise credit will be issued for returns within 60 day of purchase. Return shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
