This Charoite stone is an absolutely gorgeous purple color. It is wrapped in silver filled wire and comes with an 18” wax cord necklace that is expandable to 20”.
Charoite, also known as lilac stone, is a rare potassium, barium, calcium strontium, sodium, hydrogen-rich silicate mineral. Its color ranges from a deep purple to a lilac pink and is commonly found with inclusions of quartz (white) and Manganese (black). Originally thought to have been discovered in Russia in the 1940’s, charoite was not described until the late 1970’s, when it’s beauty was finally recognized. Sources disagree whether this striking purple rock was named for the region’s Chara river or for the Russian word chary (meaning “charms” or “magic”).
Metaphysical Properties:
Sometimes called a "stone of transformation," Charoite is thought to aid the transformation of negative emotions into positive ones. It is believed to encourage inner strength, assertiveness, creativity and self-esteem.
While it is not a birthstone, it is affiliated with the astrological signs Sagittarius and Scorpio.
Charoite is thought to be useful for the crown, third eye and solar plexus chakras.

Please follow these suggestions for care of your handmade jewelry:
Don’t wear your jewelry while sleeping, swimming, exercising, or handle it roughly
Don’t expose your jewelry to extreme hot/cold temperatures, or prolonged direct sun exposure
Don’t clean your jewelry with any chemicals or jewelry cleaning machines. A simple cleaning with soap and lukewarm water and soft cloth is all that should be required.
It is natural for pure copper jewelry to get darker/oxidize over time. We will provide you with a small cleaning cloth with your purchase to help keep it shiny and clean, but we do recommend that you store your copper jewelry in a sealed plastic bag to help slow the oxidation process.

We want you to love your purchase, so please review our product and sizing information prior to purchase. We do our best to accurately describe our items and take photographs that are a good representation of the product. It is difficult to photograph certain stones and there can be slight variations in color due to lighting.
We do not accept returns for product size and color, so please ask any questions before purchasing so we can make sure our product meets your expectations.
If your item is damaged or broken during shipping, please contact us right away so we can work together to resolve (merchandise credit or replacement).
Merchandise credit will be issued for returns within 60 day of purchase. Return shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
