This Banded Agate stone has such a beautiful banded design, and looks great with a gold plated bail. This pendant comes with an 18” wax cord pendant, expandable to 20”.
Banded Agate is one of many different forms of Agate. However, this variant is pretty unique and sports layers of light-colored silica against a darker base of microscopic Quartz crystals. Together, the two main minerals create a stunning array of color with nice reflectivity. The crystal forms in volcanic cavities, making Banded Agate a beautiful example of Mother Nature’s capabilities. It is also known as Layered Agate or “Earth Rainbow”.

Banded Agate is associated with the root chakra, also known as the base chakra. This energy point is the first of your seven primary chakras. In the world of metaphysical healing, it’s the entry point for Earth’s energy. It brings an energy of balance, grounding and stabilization to the bearer. Agate is perhaps one of the earliest stones that humans have been documented working with for peaceful protection and healing for the mind, body and spirit, and is even mentioned several times in the Bible.

Please follow these suggestions for care of your handmade jewelry:
Don’t wear your jewelry while sleeping, swimming, exercising, or handle it roughly
Don’t expose your jewelry to extreme hot/cold temperatures, or prolonged direct sun exposure
Don’t clean your jewelry with any chemicals or jewelry cleaning machines. A simple cleaning with soap and lukewarm water and soft cloth is all that should be required.
It is natural for pure copper jewelry to get darker/oxidize over time. We will provide you with a small cleaning cloth with your purchase to help keep it shiny and clean, but we do recommend that you store your copper jewelry in a sealed plastic bag to help slow the oxidation process.

We want you to love your purchase, so please review our product and sizing information prior to purchase. We do our best to accurately describe our items and take photographs that are a good representation of the product. It is difficult to photograph certain stones and there can be slight variations in color due to lighting.
We do not accept returns for product size and color, so please ask any questions before purchasing so we can make sure our product meets your expectations.
If your item is damaged or broken during shipping, please contact us right away so we can work together to resolve (merchandise credit or replacement).
Merchandise credit will be issued for returns within 60 day of purchase. Return shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
