This Green Aventurine stone is a gorgeous green, with some colorful banding. The pendant comes with an 18” wax cord necklace, expandable to 20”. This pendant pairs well with Green Aventurine earrings also available in the store.
Green Aventurine is a silicon dioxide mineral and a member of the quartz family. It was first reported in 1837 by J.D. Dan, and its color changes depending on impurities. The shade of green is a product of tiny Fuchsite particles. This stone was named after the Italian word “a Ventura”, which means “by chance”.
Metaphysical Properties:
Green aventurine is a type of translucent quartz that gets its green color from a concentration of fuchsite inclusions. A majority of the green aventurine mined today is found in India, though it's also been found in China and the state of Vermont.
Aventurine comes from the Italian words a venture,which means "by chance." It has a reputation for being a stone of chance - thus its nickname, "the Gambler's Stone. Green Aventurine has been associated with luck since its discovery.

Please follow these suggestions for care of your handmade jewelry:
Don’t wear your jewelry while sleeping, swimming, exercising, or handle it roughly
Don’t expose your jewelry to extreme hot/cold temperatures, or prolonged direct sun exposure
Don’t clean your jewelry with any chemicals or jewelry cleaning machines. A simple cleaning with soap and lukewarm water and soft cloth is all that should be required.
It is natural for pure copper jewelry to get darker/oxidize over time. We will provide you with a small cleaning cloth with your purchase to help keep it shiny and clean, but we do recommend that you store your copper jewelry in a sealed plastic bag to help slow the oxidation process.

We want you to love your purchase, so please review our product and sizing information prior to purchase. We do our best to accurately describe our items and take photographs that are a good representation of the product. It is difficult to photograph certain stones and there can be slight variations in color due to lighting.
We do not accept returns for product size and color, so please ask any questions before purchasing so we can make sure our product meets your expectations.
If your item is damaged or broken during shipping, please contact us right away so we can work together to resolve (merchandise credit or replacement).
Merchandise credit will be issued for returns within 60 day of purchase. Return shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
