This round Septarian stone has such a cool, almost medieval design. This pendant comes with an 18” wax cord necklace, extendable to 20”.
Also called Dragonstone, Septarian is a unique mix of rock, mineral and organic matter. It is often formed within and carved from layers of limestone sediment. Septarian nodules are the result of volcanic activity, and form in unusual unique shapes cut in pyramids, spheres and other interesting shapes that shimmer with crystallized minerals. Septarian nodules originate from the Cretaceous period and formed anywhere between 50 to 70 million years ago! That means that they came about around the same time the dinosaurs become extinct.
Metaphysical Properties:
Much of the folklore tied to the Septarian stone explains that it is carried to bestow confidence. You can see why it was once known as the Dragonstone - as it brings courage. Septarian stone also absorbs outside energies to transform this into strength. Its benefits refer to the lower chakras—those which ground us to the Earth, the solar plexus, the sacral chakra and the root chakra. It brings about a calm by connecting with nature and natural energies.

Please follow these suggestions for care of your handmade jewelry:
Don’t wear your jewelry while sleeping, swimming, exercising, or handle it roughly
Don’t expose your jewelry to extreme hot/cold temperatures, or prolonged direct sun exposure
Don’t clean your jewelry with any chemicals or jewelry cleaning machines. A simple cleaning with soap and lukewarm water and soft cloth is all that should be required.
It is natural for pure copper jewelry to get darker/oxidize over time. We will provide you with a small cleaning cloth with your purchase to help keep it shiny and clean, but we do recommend that you store your copper jewelry in a sealed plastic bag to help slow the oxidation process.

We want you to love your purchase, so please review our product and sizing information prior to purchase. We do our best to accurately describe our items and take photographs that are a good representation of the product. It is difficult to photograph certain stones and there can be slight variations in color due to lighting.
We do not accept returns for product size and color, so please ask any questions before purchasing so we can make sure our product meets your expectations.
If your item is damaged or broken during shipping, please contact us right away so we can work together to resolve (merchandise credit or replacement).
Merchandise credit will be issued for returns within 60 day of purchase. Return shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
