This Black Onyx stone has a beautiful faceted cut and is very classy. This pendant has a silver plated bale and comes with an 18” wax cord necklace that is extendable to 20”.
Onyx is a type of Chalcedony that occurs naturally with tiny banded parallel layers. A variety of colors are commonly found throughout various countries of the world. These countries include Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Madagascar, India, and the United States.
Metaphysical Properties:
Onyx is a stone that offers up powerful vibrations of protection, strength, focus, and willpower. By activating your root, solar plexus, and third eye chakras, one is able to fully ground themselves to Earth. Please follow these suggestions for care of your handmade jewelry:
Don’t wear your jewelry while sleeping, swimming, exercising, or handle it roughly
Don’t expose your jewelry to extreme hot/cold temperatures, or prolonged direct sun exposure
Don’t clean your jewelry with any chemicals or jewelry cleaning machines. A simple cleaning with soap and lukewarm water and soft cloth is all that should be required.
It is natural for pure copper jewelry to get darker/oxidize over time. We will provide you with a small cleaning cloth with your purchase to help keep it shiny and clean, but we do recommend that you store your copper jewelry in a sealed plastic bag to help slow the oxidation process.
