This rectangular Hemimorphite stone is a beautiful mottled light blue color. This pendant has a decorative silver bale and comes with an 18” wax cord necklace that is expandable to 20”.
The color of Hemimorphite most commonly seen is a beautiful blue, to light blue color. It also appears as green, white, yellow, brown, grey, and even colorless. This mineral was first recorded back in 1853 by a man named A. Kenngott, and was named after the crystal morphology of symmetry. Hemimorphite is believed to have been around since the 18th century and was actually referred to as “Electric Calamine”. The countries of Algeria, Mexico, Greece, Italy, and Namibia offer the best specimens for metaphysical use. A common belief in ancient times was Hemimorphite’s ability to ward off poisoning, negativity, hatred, and malice. One was urged to carry a piece when going into unsettling environments.

Please follow these suggestions for care of your handmade jewelry:
Don’t wear your jewelry while sleeping, swimming, exercising, or handle it roughly
Don’t expose your jewelry to extreme hot/cold temperatures, or prolonged direct sun exposure
Don’t clean your jewelry with any chemicals or jewelry cleaning machines. A simple cleaning with soap and lukewarm water and soft cloth is all that should be required.
It is natural for pure copper jewelry to get darker/oxidize over time. We will provide you with a small cleaning cloth with your purchase to help keep it shiny and clean, but we do recommend that you store your copper jewelry in a sealed plastic bag to help slow the oxidation process.

We want you to love your purchase, so please review our product and sizing information prior to purchase. We do our best to accurately describe our items and take photographs that are a good representation of the product. It is difficult to photograph certain stones and there can be slight variations in color due to lighting.
We do not accept returns for product size and color, so please ask any questions before purchasing so we can make sure our product meets your expectations.
If your item is damaged or broken during shipping, please contact us right away so we can work together to resolve (merchandise credit or replacement).
Merchandise credit will be issued for returns within 60 day of purchase. Return shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
