These Snowflake Obsidian stones have beautiful black with white “snowflake” patterned spots. These french hook earrings have silver plated nickel-free and hypoallergenic earring wires.
Snowflake Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass that gets its name from the tiny white mineral inclusions, cristobalite, that form little snowflakes-like patterns in the dark stone. Like Black Obsidian, Snowflake Obsidian is formed from volcanic lava and gas cooling down at a rapid rate. What makes Snowflake Obsidian different is, when the lava cools, small particles of white mineral get trapped into the stone and this is what forms the intricate snowflake pattern.
Snowflake Obsidian is found predominantly in North and South America, but reserves have also been found in Italy and Scotland, as well as some African countries too.
Metaphysical Properties:
Snowflake Obsidian is said to purify and ground body, soul and aura. It centers and focuses attention, which can be really useful in chaotic or stressful environments. The black of the obsidian and the white of the snowflakes represent the balancing of dark and light, and this stone is known to be a bringer of balance between two opposing sides.

Please follow these suggestions for care of your handmade jewelry:
Don’t wear your jewelry while sleeping, swimming, exercising, or handle it roughly
Don’t expose your jewelry to extreme hot/cold temperatures, or prolonged direct sun exposure
Don’t clean your jewelry with any chemicals or jewelry cleaning machines. A simple cleaning with soap and lukewarm water and soft cloth is all that should be required.
It is natural for pure copper jewelry to get darker/oxidize over time. We will provide you with a small cleaning cloth with your purchase to help keep it shiny and clean, but we do recommend that you store your copper jewelry in a sealed plastic bag to help slow the oxidation process.

We want you to love your purchase, so please review our product and sizing information prior to purchase. We do our best to accurately describe our items and take photographs that are a good representation of the product. It is difficult to photograph certain stones and there can be slight variations in color due to lighting.
We do not accept returns for product size and color, so please ask any questions before purchasing so we can make sure our product meets your expectations.
If your item is damaged or broken during shipping, please contact us right away so we can work together to resolve (merchandise credit or replacement).
Merchandise credit will be issued for returns within 60 day of purchase. Return shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
